Training Skills 1 - Open to dogs 4 months and up, 6 week class, approximately 1 hour each class is for teams that want to work on a variety of training real world skills such as; recall, sit/down/place, crate games, leash skills, leave it, handler attention, etc.
Learn about normal canine behavior and how to problem solve to help your pup fit in to our human world. This class will include introduction a variety of skills over the 6 week class to give handlers and dogs a foundation of training and work with each handler to develop the necessary understanding of how to motivate their dogs to learn a variety of skills to be used in our everyday lives.

This class is for teams wanting to build on all the skills you've learned in the Dog Training Skills 1 class such as faster sits and downs, longer stays, more handler focus; all made more challenging with real-life distractions. Ideal practice for Canine Good Citizen(CGC).

About the Instructor- Megan Sartori:
Megan Sartori, CPDT-KA has been training dogs and their people professionally for over 15 years. She is certified through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and a Qualified Guide Dog Mobility Instructor through the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation. She also worked as a Service Dog Field Representative for Paws with a Cause. She holds a BA in Business Management from Clark University.
In 2007 Megan transitioned this knowledge and expertise into her own companion dog training business, The Stellar Dog, LLC - Empowering People & Pets. She named her business after her behaviorally challenged terrier-mix, Stella (pictured), who taught her so much! Megan recently relocated from Connecticut to Texas and is thrilled to re-build her business in this amazing state.
